Water Aircraft Survival Parachute
A lightweight, comfortable pilot emergency parachute system with built-in life raft, which is tethered to the parachute harness. The raft is deployed and inflated by means of a CO2 cartridge while the jumper is under canopy by pulling a single handle.
System weight is about 20lbs with a 245 sq. ft. 7-cell reserve and a one-person life raft. We recommend the LRU-16/P Life Raft Assembly, which consists of an inflation assembly (carbon dioxide and inflation valve), a sea anchor, storage pockets for emergency beacons and light, ballast bags/water pockets, a spray/weather shield, and an inflatable floor.
