Tim Webb

Tim was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, and made his first jump at Canton in 1980 at the age of 16. For several of his "firsts", he had to pay other people to buy his beer for him!

Tim holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from The University of Akron, and since making his first jump he has completed nearly 5000 more, including a few state and world records.

Tim has been a DeLand resident since 1994 and is a Master Rigger and the Production Control Manager for Jump Shack (Parachute Labs).

He enjoys all types of parachuting, including freefall formation, canopy formation, BASE, and exhibition jumps.

Tim organized the last two Florida state Parachutists Over Phorty Society (POPS) largest freefall formation records, a 54-way in 2005 and a 63-way in 2006, in Deland, and was a plane captain for the 2005 POPS world record of 110 in Perris, California.

In 2007 Tim will be a captain for Z-Team Invitational. The attempt is to complete a world record 2-point 200-way sequential skydive. Skydivers from around the world will be participating in this 7 day event. The record will be challenging and rewarding. Z-Team 2007 will come together March 25-31, 2007 at Skydive City in Zephyrhills, Florida.
