11, 2004 FireBolt Upgrade This notice is to respond to occasional opening
problems, which may occur on FireBolts 110 or below. Reported “Occasional Off Heading Openings”;
“Slider seems to hang up, then one side will open causing a turn in that
direction”. Analysis: We discovered the
braked portion of the tail of the canopy could pull through the slider
stops and not hit the “C” line stop.
Field Fix: Add a slider stop to the underside of the
tail tip.
